What does The Mahabharata Says "Is there anything like Heaven or Hell?"

"Get to know The Spiritual Gifts with a Tale"

If you remember, we all would have experienced listening to the beautiful ancient mythological tales from our Grandmothers.

Almost all of her stories will be projected to heaven, hell, karmas, good deeds, where somehow she teach us the best way to lead a beautiful and blissful life.

Sometime, being inspired by her narration, we feel like visiting heaven, sometimes we get the desire to see what hell also looks like. However, they are funny moments.

Even if we ask her to describe heaven, she will narrate the screen in such a way that it will give a desire to visit heaven urging the eagerness to take our journey to heaven.

I know, at this stage we all are aware of the fact and today this could be subject to disputes — Is there anything really like Heaven or Hell geographically?

Now, this depends on individual perspective — some might say that hell and heaven depends upon "How is our life journey" whereas others will be like "it can be experienced only after death."

Yet there are certain specifications been provided in the Mahabharata, where in one of the story narrates that at Bhishma pitamah's death bed where he was placed on the arrows — dwelling between life and death “being alive and breathing, but not dead” was the hell a person could ever experience in life.

Whereas, it was the elder Pandavas, who walked into heaven as per the boon. Even the legend states that in this world there is no one else apart from them who visited heaven.

Today, for people these tales are no more than an imaginary story as no one is interested whenever there is a talk with no logic behind.

But if this interest you, you might love to read on how Krishna teaches to celebrate over death.

Still, there are people who believe in karmas — good and bad deeds, no matter whether being created knowingly or unknowingly. They know that it will hit them back sometime in their life sooner or later, the hell or heaven will be shown to them in their current life.

Fun part of the scenario is that they don't know what they are going to end up with — the good or bad one. In other words, it’s all about

"What we sow is what we reap."

If you share happiness, wealth, love with others you will get that back with more credit points added to it. Similarly, add upon hurt, ego, jealousy, anger with others you will get them back, again with the same — more on credit points.

So, its up to us whether to choose the good or bad — the choice is ours.

Of course, here I won't be able to assure you as "Yes, hell or heaven does exist."

But I can guarantee you that you will visit hell or heaven for sure depending upon your deeds not after death, but when you are alive — just by connecting with people.

Yes, to identify whether you're in a hell or heaven, have a check on some of these points to have some clarity,

  • The people you are spending most of your time with, do you feel comfortable with them, no matter whether they're your family members, friends or colleagues?
  • Are you able to accept yourself the way you are, or do you feel ashamed of yourself for something?
  • Do you have to pretend to be someone else in front of others?
  • Do you ever felt happy and satisfied at some point in your life for whatever blessings you have?
  • Do you have a positive approach towards every single life situation and people?
  • Even after some or the other life struggling when you reach home, do you have a great family to invite you with kind words?
  • Whenever you go to sleep, do you end up on a peaceful sleep?

If you qualify these answers with a "YES," then let me tell you that you're in heaven.

Enjoy your Heaven! But, if you're hanging in-between hell and heaven, then try to work on some good deeds and add-up your credit account with heaven to enjoy them soon.

Love and Light to All Pure Souls!
